- Click on "Check Status" or navigate to the status check page
- Enter your 13-digit South African ID number
- Enter your registered cellphone number
- Complete the security verification (CAPTCHA)
- Click "Submit" to view your application status

- Send "Status" to start the conversation
- Follow the prompts and provide your ID number
- Receive your status update via WhatsApp
