How to Collect Your Payment

Bank Account

Payments are deposited directly into your registered bank account. Ensure your banking details are correct and up to date.

Cash Send / eWallet

Collect your payment at any ATM using Cash Send, eWallet, or similar mobile money services.

Post Office

Collect your grant at any South African Post Office using your SASSA card or ID document.

About SRD R370 Grant Payments

The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant of R370 is paid monthly to eligible beneficiaries. Unlike other social grants that are paid at the beginning of the month, SRD grant payments typically occur around the middle of each month.

Payments are processed in batches, which means not all beneficiaries receive their payments on the same day. If you don't receive your payment on the scheduled date, please wait a few days before contacting SASSA.

  • Verify that your banking details are correct
  • Wait 3-5 business days after the scheduled payment date
